Nature is more than just a word for me, its a way of life. Its where I was raised and where I attended school. When I look at nature, I see a blessing from God. If I could give a definition to nature it would have to be beauty. I love admiring the beauty of the butterflies, trees, the sky, just every thing. Living in the country. I have learned to appreciate nature and every thing that comes with it.
I'm a county girl at heart, so nature has been apart of my life for as long as I can remember. But believe it or not I really didn't appreciate the goodness and the beauty of nature growing up. I always wanted to be apart of the city or be around people because I'm a very social person. Now that I'm in the city, I always want to go back to the country now. I miss the quietness, privacy, and lifestyle it self.
My love for nature started when I got very interested in butterflies and ladybugs. I just loved, and still do, seeing the different kinds of butterflies just flying around landing on trees, My interested with ladybug came from my grandma. She always told me not to kill them because they bring good luck. I remember trying to catch them, then after I caught them I put them in water bottles so I could have good luck. Now looking back on it, I never received good luck, maybe because they eventually died in the water bottle.
I can say that I have learned to appreciate the value and beauty of nature on a more personal and spiritual level. Too many people are taking this beautiful blessing for granted. People should just sit back and just appreciate this blessing that God has given up. But until then, I'm just going to continue admiring the beautiful butterflies and ladybugs.
